An introduction to our class

Jujitsu is one of the most interesting and diverse martial art styles around.  Unlike other styles such as Karate or Judo, you’re not restricted to learning just how to punch, kick or throw, Jujitsu involves all of these plus other techniques such as,  joint locks, ground-work, and not forgetting learning how to handle a variety of weapons.

The aim of our children’s class is for your child to learn a bit of discipline, respect and to grow in confidence.  As we know, children respond to positive reinforcement and praise, as such all their hard work will be recognised and rewarded as they work their way through our grading system.  Our warm friendly classes are purposefully inviting and have a family orientated environment.

For the adults out there who are looking for a new interest; Jujitsu is a great way to keep fit and learn a great art form.  Our adult class is a friendly environment.  There is no requirement to have a high level of fitness, just a desire to learn and progress.  Just as with the children, you will work your way through the grades.

Don’t hesitate to start the New Year with a new interest; I look forward to seeing you in class.
